I understand that the dominant 7th can only be/best used in the V position. Is there a similar rule for the 9ths, 11ths, & 13ths?

Thank you so much! I should mention I play funk rock. Been watching a lot of YouTube videos and digging into different websites. It’s all starting to make sense now. I went thru all of the questions here and didn’t want to make the same mistakes they did. They didn’t review your entire site and just went straight to asking a question. You’ve been very nice about it. Being home bored all day has really helped me gain this knowledge. I’m not looking to play jazz so I don’t plan on going that deep with theory. Again… Truly appreciate your help. In the future if I have any questions I’ll try to exhaust all other resources and will be more precise.
