Hi, do i need also learn melodic minor 3 notes per string patterns?

Not necessarily. It’s hard to answer for your specific needs. If you use the melodic minor quite a lot then it’s worth it, otherwise don’t waste too much time on it. It would take a lifetime to learn every permutation of every scale and chord etc. I rarely use melodic minor personally so I don’t waste time practising it. If that changes at some point and I find myself using it more often then I’ll put in the effort.
