Same here, I just finished “Guitar Theory.”
I have tried other books but they have always been a struggle/chore and I invariably get the same feeling I did when in Maths class at school, ie just not getting it and getting more and more frustrated and put me off bothering with theory at all.
This book however was the closest thing to having an actual teacher to break things down and reinforce key points etc and it has properly helped me.

No worries Lee, it’s nice to have one good source than the hundreds of confusing ones available these days online, just a pity your book wasn’t available when I first picked up a guitar 30+ years ago!!
