I want to come up with a solo for a song I’m working on (Backing track)
It is in the key of A minor ..It is compromised of Am. Fmajor Gmajor.. can I stick to the Aminor pentatonic scale throughout or do I have to switch to major to cover the F and G ?

All of the chords belong to the same key. A natural minor or A minor pentatonic should work over the whole thing. Hard to know without hearing it in context but a mix of A minor pentatonic and then targeting chord tones on the changes should sound good.
