- Bought used guitar, it has overlay layer on top of it. It has cracks. Any ideas how to fix/repair them, re-make the added top layer or anything that can help me? Please help, this is huge for me.

Not sure what you mean by the overlay layer? Do you mean the pick guard? Something like this might be best asked in a facebook guitar group where you can post some pictures, I think you’ll get better advice there.
