I don’t quite understand the question to be honest. Suspended chords (Sus 4) just replace the 3rd with a 4th scale degree so you can use them anywhere to an extent if you like the sound, without going out of key. Augmented chords are more transitional.
It’s a bit difficult to answer without something more specific, can you give me more detail?
