Relationship between dominant chords and major 7 chords..how i play solo if G7 and Cmaj7 are the two chord playing in background track.?

Cmaj7 and G7 is a I-V in the key of C major so the obvious choice would be to just use the C major scale. C major pentatonic would also work. Try to pick out chord tones, that will probably make it sound more musical so you could mess around with C major 7 and G7 arpeggios over the corresponding chords.
