On my guitar I am quite confident of modes and their relative positions, I am now listening to new songs and trying to work out song melody tunes the chords are given with the words. Thanks I have been a subscriber for about a year, your site is very intuitive and a great site.

This is something that is underrated, you can learn a lot from working out the melody and figuring out the connection to chords and scales. A lot of your soloing ideas can be based right off of that.
