Hi, just started playing guitar and am worried about my hands being too small, will it just take more practice for me to be as good as someone with bigger hands? I really struggle to do some chords because of this, does this just come with practice?
A lot of people worry about small hands, short or fat fingers etc., I don’t think any of it matters. Look around at different guitarists and you’ll see all sorts. I’ve seen people with smaller hands and shorter fingers than my own doing things that I might struggle with. It’s really just about sticking with it and practising. The problems you are having are probably not because of small hands, they’re probably just the same struggles that most beginners go through so don’t give up and just keep trying, you’ll get there.
