So hello there this may be a stupid quesiton but im wondering could a low budget guitar sound the same as the one that ed sheeran used in his video i see fire i found guitar by the name of STAGG SA20A and im wondering if it would sound good
You could probably get a low budget guitar to sounds similar, not necessarily the one you are talking about though. You’d really need to try them out first, all guitars can sound very different whether low or high budget.
There’s also the equipment it’s recorded on or plugged into, plus the player themselves. Just too many variables. Either way, you can often get some great sounds out of budget guitars.
Don’t forget you could also get the same guitar as he’s playing and still not sound the same. Best to just find a sound you are happy with and don’t waste too much time trying to imitate others unless you can do so easily. It can become a very expensive quest 🙂
